NAYS Parent Training - Basketball ONLINE - Winter 2023

The Marble Falls Parks and Recreation is partnering with the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) to provide our mandatory youth sports Parent Training. As a requirement to participate in our youth sports league, a member of each family must complete the parent training course annually. Families can choose to attend in person or complete the training online. 

The cost for families to complete is $5.00 to complete online. 

Instructions for the online course will be emailed and can be found at the bottom of your registration receipt.

  • Why do we require the NAYS Parent Course: The parent training course is required for anyone who registers with the City of Marble Falls youth sports leagues. We feel that the information in the training is beneficial to everyone in the league
  • Who is required to take the training?: One member from each family is required to complete the NAYS Parent Training Course.
  • What are the topics covered?: The topics covered are concussions, nutrition, being a model youth sports parent, child abuse prevention, hydration and safety.
  • Where are the course instructions?: The course instructions will be on the receipt from the purchase. Please scroll to the bottom to find the instructions for the training.
  • How do I check my completed certificate?: If you have taken the course for a previous youth sport league, you can log into NAYS to see if your certificate is still valid. Log into NAYS at https://www.nays.org/user-login.
