NAYS Parent Training ONLINE - Baseball/Softball/Soccer/Flag Football - Fall 2024

The Marble Falls Parks and Recreation is partnering with the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) to provide our mandatory youth sports Parent Training. As a requirement to participate in our youth sports league, a member of each family must complete the parent training course annually. Families can choose to attend in person or complete the training online. 

The cost for families to complete is $5.00 to complete online. 

Instructions for the online course will be emailed and can be found at the bottom of your registration receipt. 

Youth Basketball League - Winter 2024

Click REGISTER to sign up for the winter season of the Marble Falls Youth Basketball League!

Registration will open September 1 through November 1. The recreational basketball league is open to boys and girls ages 4 to 11 years old, regardless of skill level or years of experience. The season will consist of an 8-game season, with team formations at the mid-November and games starting January 11. Teams will be scheduled two, 1-hour practices on weeknights, with games scheduled on Saturdays through March 1.  

Age Divisions: Age is determined by the participant’s age on September 1 of the current school year. (9/1/24)

The cost to participate:

• Residents: $75.00

Volunteer coaches are essential to make the league a success. If you or anyone in your family is interested in coaching a team, use the volunteer button below, after you register your player to sign up as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach.

Steins and Vines Festival - Fall 2024

Join us at the inaugural Steins and Vines Festival on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Lakeside Pavilion in Marble Falls. Experience a day of craft beer and wine tastings from up to 15 local and regional breweries and wineries. VIP ticket holders will enjoy early entry at 10:00 AM, along with an exclusive event mug or wine glass.  General Admission entry begins at 12:00 PM, with the event concluding at 4:00 PM. Barn Quilt Creation-September 2024 - Fall 2024

Join us in Marble Falls on September 18th from 9 am to 4 pm for a unique barn quilt painting program. This recreational class, open to individuals ages 16 and up, offers a creative opportunity to design and paint aluminum board barn quilts with geometric patterns. Registration is open until September 1st. Unleash your creativity and add a personal touch to your surroundings with these beautiful and vibrant wall or fence decorations. You can choose your design at registration, and colors are selected on the class day. Sign up now to reserve your spot!

Family Camp Out - Fall 2024

Enjoy a night out and camp in Johnson Park from Friday, October 18 through Saturday, October 19! The Marble Falls Family Camp Out promises to be a unforgettable experience with registration including the following amenities:

• A 20x20 feet campsite (Max = 5 people, 2 tents)
• Visits by City of Marble Falls Police Department and Fire Department
• A presentation and telescope access presented by Stars and Science Austin
• A S'mores bundle
• Access to a campfire
• Access to Johnson Park (the park road will be blocked off for the duration of the event)
• A Breakfast provided by Marble Falls Fire Rescue

Mark your calendars for a fun-filled weekend! Check in will begin at 3:30pm on Friday, October 18 at the Johnson Park concession stand, and check out will be by 11:00am on Sunday, November 5th. 

Halloween In the Park - Booth Registration - Fall 2024

Double, double, toil, and trouble!! Join us on Halloween for a night of trick or treating, games and more! Dress up in your favorite Halloween costume and have fun with family, friends, and your community. We are looking for local businesses to set up booths & hand out candy to the trick or treaters! All booths are required to be decorated in a Halloween theme! Vendor Booth spots are limited, be sure to register soon to get spooky!! 

Registration deadline is Friday, October 25!
