Christmas Parade Float Registration - Winter 2024

Join us on Friday, December 6 to celebrate the holiday season in Marble Falls! We invite local businesses, families, and groups to participate in the Light Up Parade by decorating and registering their Christmas Float. Powered floats, vehicles, horses, marching and walking groups are all welcome to participate! Floats must be festively lit and of course, feature family-friendly music. We also encourage you to compete to be crowned the "BEST FLOAT of 2024!!"  

The cost to register your Christmas Float is free, but donations are welcome to help support the event. You can find a full set of rules and regulations on our website www.visitmarblefalls.org

The registration deadline is Friday, November 29.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • How do I find float staging information?: Detailed staging information will be emailed out no later than Monday, December 2.
  • What is the day of parade schedule?: 2:00pm- Street Closure 4:30pm- Line up/Staging 5:30pm- Judging Starts 6:00pm- Parade Starts
  • Can we pass out items to the crowd?: You may WALK towards audience and HAND them an item. THROWING of any objects such as candy, jewelry, toys, trinkets, liquids, ice, plastics, etc. are strictly forbidden.
  • What type of items can we pass out?: NO FLYERS or other disposal paper products are allowed to be distributed. This includes flyers and business cards attached to candy.
  • Why can't I hand out a flyer?: We appreciate your cooperation as flyers are left behind on the ground and create a large amount of litter, even attached to candy.
  • Can I have a Santa on the Float?: No, we do not allow Santa to be on any float. Santa will arrive with the Fire Department at the end of the parade.
